FRAUEN IN BERLIN was supposed to be Chetna Vora’s diploma film. She filmed women speaking about their lives with unusual openness and in lengthy shots with few cuts. After she refused to shorten the film, it was confiscated by the film school. Only a secretly filmed rough cut survives to this day.
